Description
Rosa floribunda ‘Color Splash’ is a vibrant and striking rose cultivar known for its unique and dramatic bicolor blooms, typically showcasing a blend of deep red and white streaks or splashes on each petal. This floribunda rose combines the abundant blooming habit of floribundas with the striking visual appeal of its variegated petals, making it a standout choice for garden beds, borders, and containers. Floribunda roses, developed by crossing hybrid tea roses with polyantha roses, were introduced in the early 20th century to provide clusters of flowers with the classic rose shape and extended blooming season. ‘Color Splash’ exemplifies this heritage by delivering prolific blooms repeatedly throughout the growing season, accompanied by a mild, classic rose fragrance. This cultivar is valued not only for its ornamental appeal but also for its disease resistance and ease of care, thriving best in full sun and well-drained soil. Its unique coloration and consistent performance have made it a favorite among rose enthusiasts and landscape designers seeking dynamic color contrast and texture.
