Description
The Rosa Floribunda ‘Desert Sky’ is a striking floribunda rose known for its densely clustered blooms that showcase a captivating blend of lavender and soft lilac hues with a subtle white center, creating a delicate, watercolor-like effect. This variety is prized not only for its unique and elegant coloration but also for its vigorous growth habit and disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for gardeners seeking both beauty and durability. Floribunda roses, developed by hybridizing polyantha and hybrid tea roses, were introduced in the early 20th century to combine the floriferous nature of polyanthas with the larger, showier blooms of hybrid teas. ‘Desert Sky’ continues this legacy with prolific blooming from spring through fall and a delightful, mild fragrance. Its compact, bushy form and glossy dark green foliage make it an excellent choice for borders, beds, or container gardening. The blend of artistry in its petal coloration and practical garden performance has made ‘Desert Sky’ a favorite among rose enthusiasts and landscape designers alike.
